USCIS’ Review of an Employer’s Ability to Pay is No Longer Rigid and More Comprehensive

USCIS issued policy guidance to allow a more flexible review of whether or not an employer has demonstrated its ability to pay the proffered wage from the priority date. This is a huge relief to many employers whose ability may not be evident on a tax return but has other financial documents such as credit limit/bank lines to more than cover the wage commitment to the beneficiary.

You May Now Receive ADIT I-551 Stamp by Mail

Instead of going to an InfoPass appointment in person at a local field office, you may now receive the stamp by mail. The ADIT stamp, also known as the I-551 stamp, is placed on your passport and serves as temporary evidence of lawful permanent status while your I-90, N-400, or I-751 is pending. Not sure if it's widely needed now, given the new receipt notices that offer longer extensions....
