Here are some sample processing times.
- Vermont Service Center:
- Filed on 03/03/2022, approved on 04/08/2024. This case took approximately 25 months to process.
- Texas Service Center:
- Filed on 09/17/2021, approved on 03/19/2024. This petition took about 30 months to process.
- Filed on 09/02/2021, approved on 03/12/2024. This case was processed in about 30 months.
- Filed on 02/16/2021, approved on 09/12/2023. This approval came in roughly 31 months.
Trends and Observations:
- Increasing Processing Times: There is a noticeable trend towards longer processing times. While previously some cases were completed within about 24 to 28 months, recent data indicates a shift towards 30 to 31 months for many cases.
- No Interviews/RFE: Despite the longer wait, almost all were approved without RFE or interview.

Regarding ACS biometrics notices, we recently received one for a I-751 that was filed in July 2020.
I-751 processing continues to experience extended delays although there have been some improvements. We just received approval for a case filed on 10/30/2019. The interview was waived. The total processing time is about 20 months.
Compared to two months ago, we received approval of a case filed in February 2019. Total processing time was about 2 years and 2 months. Petitioners in this case were required to attend an interview.
