Case 1: Form I-485 received June 8, 2026; approved August 28, 2026 — 81 days.
Case 2: Form I-485 received June 15, 2026; approved September 16, 2026 — 93 days.
In both cases, the applicant sought a green card as the spouse of a U.S. citizen. The redacted notices shown below document the filing and approval dates.
These results are encouraging for the couples involved, but they are individual examples. Processing times vary, and applicants should not assume that a marriage-based green card case filed today will be approved on a similar timeline.
