While processing times can vary depending on individual circumstances and service center workloads, the following overview summarizes the range of processing times we observed from recently approved cases.

EAD (I-765) Processing Times:

  • Fastest Processing Time: The quickest EAD approval happened in just 29 days. This case was filed on December 14, 2023, and approved on January 12, 2024.
  • Longest Processing Time: The longest processing time observed for EAD in this sample was 6 months and 8 days, with an application filed on March 16, 2023, and approved on September 24, 2023.

AP (I-131) Processing Times:

Advance Parole (AP) applications generally follow a similar processing timeline to EADs. Here’s what we observed:

  • Fastest Processing Time: The quickest AP approval happened in 2 months and 18 days. This case was filed on October 13, 2023, and approved on January 31, 2024.
  • Longest Processing Time: The longest observed AP approval time was 1 year and 5 days, with an application filed on March 8, 2023, and approved on March 13, 2024.
